Digital Producer, Coronation Street

ITV’s Studios and
Online division have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital
Producer to join the award-winning Coronation Street team. The purpose
of the role is to create digital content to delight, entertain and
maximise reach for ITV’s biggest Soaps. Reporting to the Assistant
Producer for Studios and the Digital Executive Producer for
Entertainment, in online, you will work across social media, commercial
campaigns and ITV's Hub programme sites.
As an editorial
all-rounder with Live TV experience you will understand how to bring TV
brands alive in the digital sphere. You will be familiar with trends in
digital media and be able to quickly adapt to changing business
imperatives. An excellent communicator with first-class journalism
skills, you will have experience using content management systems,
Photoshop and Avid or Final Cut Pro.
To be considered, you will
need to have experience supporting or managing a live programme or
event, a previous track record in producing, scoping and managing
content across all digital environments and an extensive knowledge of
creating content for social media channels, Video editing experience is
essential.
You must have previous experience working for a TV
show in an online capacity, experience working in a live television
environment, filming and editing video content. We will look to you to
have the ability to deliver high quality content and propositions to
tight deadlines within budget and have a good knowledge of web
production with at least basic knowledge of HTML, Adobe Photoshop and a
good understanding of the technology behind digital platforms.
You
will also be able to demonstrate a real passion for Coronation Street
and drama in general. Working on the nation’s favourite soap means
discretion, diplomacy and professionalism must be second nature to you.
