This is such a lovely story. Yesterday, Manchester's Victoria station briefly became Victoria Wood station
as hundreds celebrated the comedian’s life and career. In charge of
proceedings was ex-Coronation Street actress Sue Devaney, who played Kev Webster's sister Debbie in Corrie.

The station was only called Victoria Wood station for one wonderful hour, but a petition is under way for the name-change to be made permanent, and for a statue of Wood to be installed on the concourse.
Did you know that Victoria Wood's father once wrote for Coronation Street? Find out more here.

How wonderful! I absolutely loved Victoria Wood and saw her twice in Sheffield at The City Hall. Jaws literally aching on leaving - so so good!
In the top picture, which one is Sue Devaney? I can't tell from the lower picture.
