The daughter of Debbie Rush, who plays Anna Windass in Coroantion Street, has secured a role in rival soap EastEnders.
Debbie's daughter Poppy Rush has been appearing in EastEnders whis week as Sophie, a friend of Kyle's. If you watch EastEnders, you might know these characters... I have to admit I haven't a clue. I haven't seen 'Stenders since Doctor Legg and Shell were in it.
Poppy Rush made her EastEnders debut this Monday night when her character Sophie arrived in Walford with her friend Kyle. Sophie was later seen supporting Kyle following his encounter with Stacey. Digital Spy reveals that Sophie will be back on screen for another appearance later this month.

When I saw her appear with Kyle, there was something about her that was really familiar but I think she just reminds me of an actress who used to be on a US soap. I've just seen her in one episode so far but she was good in the role. The Kyle character is the son of Stacy's dad (he was a bigamist but they didn't discover that until just recently - he's been dead for a while). thanks so much for making the Corrie connection!
