There is a beautiful interview in today's Mirror with Beverley Callard (Liz McDonald) who opens up about the last days of Anne Kirkbride.
It's a lovely tribute to Anne Kirkbride. Beverley and Anne were good friends and the interview is definitely well worth a read.
Beverley talks about how she first met Anne Kirkbride on the set at Coronation Street and how their friendship lasted all the way up to Anne's final moments.

Oh my goodness....I read both articles, with tissues in my hand...how very touching...deepest friends they were, those two girls.....
Yes, that second article brought on many tears. So glad to hear that Anne was so loved, surrounded by many loved ones in her last hours.
I am appreciative of Bev for sharing that. I love the phrase 'work sister'. Corrie actors always refer to themselves as a 'family' and I am sure that the filming of Anne's funeral will be very emotional indeed. Bless their hearts.
