OWEN’S PUSHED TO THE BRINK OF DESPAIR Owen’s fuming when Phelan introduces him and Gary to his new site foreman, Clive. Intent on making Owen’s life hell he immediately starts throwing his weight around. Stealing Clive’s lighter, Owen sends Gary home. Plainly on edge Owen builds a bonfire at the site and takes out the lighter. Is he about to make the biggest mistake of his life?
PETER LIVES IN FEAR OF A VOLATILE TINA Steph tells Tina she needs to forget about the affair but it’s clear Tina wants payback. As Peter accompanies Carla to a business meeting at the Rovers, Tina stares scornfully at him. What revenge is she planning?
MARCUS RISKS MARIA’S WRATH TO HELP LIAM When Marcus gets a call from Liam’s child-minder to say she can’t get hold of Maria, Marcus insists he’ll pick up Liam. Todd warns him that Maria won’t be happy.
ELSEWHERE Kirk’s concerned when Beth books herself an appointment with a cosmetic surgeon for a breast enlargement and Sophie and Tim are shocked when a social worker calls at No.4 and demands to know why Maddie hasn’t been seen at her lodgings bearing in mind she’s under 18.

OWEN LAYS HIS ANGUISH BARE Anna arrives just in time to snatch the lighter out of Owen’s hand. Owen breaks down as Anna angrily points out he could have ended up in prison. When Gary finds out Owen almost torched the building site, he blames himself. Returning home he heads to the garden where he struggles to breath. Will they ever get away from this dreadful predicament?
VILIFIED MARCUS CONTEMPLATES ESCAPE A furious Maria tells Marcus he can’t wheedle his way back in but Audrey warns her that by punishing Marcus, she’s upsetting Liam. With this in mind, how will Maria feel when Marcus tells her he’s going to London for a while to try and come to terms with everything?
SECRETS ARE UNCOVERED AT THE WEBSTERS Sally and Kevin are appalled to learn how 17 year old Maddie duped them into giving her a roof over her head but when Sally tells Maddie she’s no longer welcome, how will Sophie react?
ELSEWHERE Peter’s relieved when Tina tells him she’s no intention of telling anyone about their affair, Sinead and Kirk try their best to talk Beth out of having breast implants and Faye’s disappointed when she realises Anna, Owen and Gary missed her play.
