I'm reading this with my early morning cuppa just before setting off to work and, in the fuddled mists of half-awake-land thought I was reading some sort of Corrie spoilers. And you know what? I didn't think 'where on earth has Tracy got the money or inclination to open a horse sanctuary?'. And perhpas the fact that St Ella opens a bathroom showroom and a beauty salon is perhaps a way out of her current financial predicament with t'Rovers. Some of these snippets made perfect sense in the current crop of stories - just shows what Corrie is about these days:)
St Ella of the bad botox is not a good ad for a beauty salon? I presume in "opening" its the Coronation Street "star" cutting the ribbon, rather than starting it up as a sideline?
Re: Malcolm Hebden getting lost in Suranne Jones' boobage :
This set me wondering again whether Malcolm Hebden is gay or not. Certainly the fact that "Malcolm is famed for his outrageous sense of humour and is a big hit with all the cast, particularly the ladies." doesn't discourage the notion that he is. Lots of gay men get on famously well with women colleagues, far better than most straight men. And Malcolm is certainly as camp as a row of tents. Clearly, like say, Kenneth Williams, he prefers to keep his private life very private, which of course he is perfectly entitled to do, but in the modern age when being gay is for the most part something fairly unremarkable it would be nice to see the actor playing Norris coming out.
From what I know through people who have connections with the cast, Malcom Hebden is a much nicer man than Norris.
