Jack P Shepherd, who plays Coronation Street's David Platt, will be opening the new Poundland store in Ballyclare on Saturday October 6.
To mark the official unveiling of the store,
Poundland will be holding a family fun day on Saturday when Jack will get the
party started by signing autographs and having his picture taken with
local Corrie fans.
From 10am Jack will be giving out £1 vouchers,
which shoppers can exchange for anything from multi-bags of Walkers
Crisps to greeting cards.
Poundland’s Trading Director, David
Coxon, said: “Poundland offers exceptional value on top branded products
to over 4.5 million customers every week. The £1 price hasn’t changed
since we opened our first store 22 years ago. Our current customers love
us and we are sure the Ballyclare shoppers will too.”
