Does anyone have a copy of Coronation Street creator Tony Warren's book "I was Ena Sharples' father"?
If you'd like to contact me by email me at glenda.young@btinternet.com and have a copy you'd be willing to sell, or trade for some other Corrie goodies I might have duplicates of, please do let me know. Thank you.

WOW! Why is this book SO expensive?

Wow indeed! After years of looking for this book, I found a very good copy (with dust jacket) by chance in a second hand bookshop in rural Victoria, Australia. It cost me all of $4:) I don't plan to part with it, but if there's a particular section of the book you're interested in Glenda, I could scan and email it to you. Nick
A little better at amazon.com marketplace than amazon.ca, but yikes!
You could get a few hundred bucks for that $4.00 purchase of yours, njblas!

Thanks for the offer Nick, but I'd really love to own the book and read it through. There was one for sale o eBay this week but it went for £37 and I didn't win the auction. I guess the value of it reflects its rarity.
If I stumble across another copy I'll nab it for you:)

Found this on Amazon.co.uk, but still expensive, but not as much as the other ones. A used one is around £72.00 pounds. Good luck with finding the book flaming Nora!
