We didn't think it likely that Michelle would be allowed out of her Corrie commitments to do the dancing show. But we blogged about the rumour anyway and her agent has responded with the following comment, direct to us here at the Coronation Street Blog.

All the signs seem to say that Kym wants this not Jamie . Therefore I expect this marriage will last as long as Kyms able to control it. I have never seen a picture ( and there have been many) where Jamie looks enamoured with her. I think he wants to keep his options open. If he got famous in the States which is what he really DOES seem to want, she wouldn't see him for dust ! Sad - but I believe - True
