Beverley Callard has pulled-out of a Christmas pantomime because of ill-health, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Bev, who played Liz McDonald, , was due to star as the Wicked Queen in a production of Sleeping Beauty at Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre.
In a statement she said she was sorry to disappoint her fans but had been forced to quit for health reasons.
However, ex-Corrie actress Margi Clarke, who played Tyrone’s mum Jackie Dobbs in Coronation Street, has taken over Bev's role.
