Corrie Weekly Awards: Sept. 5 - 9
Inner Cilla award: Go Fiz! Now she needs to have a go at that dark haired bully.
Reality check award: Lloyd had a few hard words for Cheryl.
Touchy feely award: Gold Star: Frank's mother was all over Carla.
Blame shifter award: Everyone's blaming everyone else for the accident.
Both feet in mouth disease: Shoe leather star: Lloyd for his remark to Chris about losing the will to live watching a dvd box set repeatedly. Ouch.
Rock and a Hard Place award: Stony Star: Carla really put Peter in a difficult spot when she confessed to him.
Selective memory award: Chris is using his illness, pretending to have memory loss to cause trouble between Lloyd and Cheryl.
Fashion don't: Only prats tie their clothing around their shoulders (remember Jools?)
Eggshell carpet has now been shifted into Lloyd and Cheryl's house.
Magic phone number award: Gold Star: Ty gets a phone number and he's on top of the world.
Lines of the week:
Mary about Norris' disappearance "That's not like Norris" (twice in two weeks, maybe it is!)
Carla "In-laws that actually like me. That's a first" (And it didn't last very long)
Peter to Eva "Where have you been?" Eva "Just getting some chips" (two places locally to get chips but she couldn't have gone to either one or she'd have seen the accident!)
Tina "You were stupid boys with a stupid plan"
Kirk "when you've got tape tangled in your hair and Mr. Foster down your neck, you wish you'd make friends with that baby!" (meaning the tape gun).
Tyrone "I've been a mechanic long enough to know a write off when I see it" (Aw he's lovely, really)
Simon "I can't go to school, I've had a trauma!" (cheeky!)
Frank to Carla "What must your exes have been like if you are afraid to trust" (how much time have you got?)

Who is Jools?
Jools was Todd Grimshaw's fella.
I dont like Simon and his remarks, it just feels forced now. He does this in almost every scene. And before people start with the "He is just a kid" or whatever, I dont care.
Did you ever notice Simon on a rice crispys advert. Anyway I don't like simon he needs to be cute and kiddy like not obnoxious and fake. He cant even cry with tears and hardly talks either give him some lines or get rid.
continuity blooper...Dr. tells them they've removed Stella's tubes and she's breathing on her own. Next scene..she's still hooked up with a tube down her throat and the family is standing around her bed all teary eyed....next scene the tubes are gone and she opens her eyes. Shoddy.
Kleenex award...Jane Danson..each and every scene that woman is in is head and shoulders above the rest. She really can turn on the waterworks...gets me every time.
LOVE JANE!!
How did Carla get Frank's car keys award?
I think Carla went out earlier to get something from the car, did she not? When she spoke to Peter when he was outside having a cig?
Ahh, that's right. I forgot who he was! Thanks Tvor!
