Corrie weekly awards: May 30 - June 3
Pity Party award: Soft star: Graeme has sunk into the blankie and is torn between two lovers.
Slow burn, big explosion award: Gold Star: Becky.
What money problems? award: Brass star: I know why Steve was in the casino, but why was Dev there, on his own as well! He's just as broke, isn't he?

Loyalty award: Gold Star: Kirk and all of Fiz's friends rallying round.
Oh not another nutter award: Gold Star: Poor Maria! First Tony, now Stape threatening her! Good for her for not giving over the baby!

Most contrived moment: 100 pound Becky weilding a sledghammer (supposedly) that weighs more than she does and 4 men and 2 other women can't take it off of her before she smashes the Barlow's door down. As if.
I gotta agree. Where is Owen and Jason to retrieve their sledge hammer? They must have been cowering outside while senior citizen Ken Barlow tries to protect his property and stepdaughter. On the other hand, Owen being shady Owen... maybe he was hoping Becks would do some serious damage to the walls...maybe to the fixtures, plumbing and more doors --- there could be more fix-it work for Owen's business... meaning MO' MONEY...
