New Manchester Walks, Manchester's leading walks and tours outfit, are running a number of special versions of their original Coronation Street tour, the first ever guided walk on the Street's history, on Thursday 9 December to mark the 50th birthday of the world's greatest soap.
The tour takes in a number of city centre locations relevant to the Street's history such as the Midland Hotel, Bootle St police station, the Old Grapes pub, the Great John Street hotel and of course Granadaland itself.
The tours leave from the steps of the Midland Hotel on Peter Street at 11am and 2.30pm on Thu 9 December. Cost £6 (£5). Booking available through http://www.quaytickets.com/?search=coronation.
