There's going to be a Coronation Street masterclass at this year's MediaGuardian Edinburgh International Television Festival. The Festival runs from August 27 – 29 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
This year, the festival is celebrating 50 years of Coronation Street and 25 years of EastEnders. For Coronation Street, festival goers will be taken on a trip down memory lane. The Corrie masterclass line-up includes Corrie writer and creator Tony Warren, actress Katherine Kelly (Becky McDonald) and Guardian TV journalist, the fab Nancy Banks-Smith.
Producers will reveal how potent plots and sizzling storylines continue to excite and engage audiences young and old. Discover the secrets of writing, producing and directing.
