The wonderful Inside Soap magazine have launched a No Jail for Gail campaign. Not only is there a t-shirt, but they've taken the campaign to Downing Street.
You can join in the fun on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/nojailforgail where there's pictures of celebrities joining in the fun and wearing the t-shirt. Here's Paul O'Grady, a huge Coronation Street fan. But the picture I would have loved to have shown you on the blog doesn't seem to be on the website although it is in this week's magazine. It's Brian Tilsley, aka actor Chris Quentin, wearing the No Jail for Gail t-shirt! Now, that's class.

A rather lacklustre copycat of Dierdre's Save the Weatherfield One in my opinion. Plus the fact most viewers would like to see her stay in there, not a particularly popular character Gail I wouldnt have thought.
Oh I'd buy one - anyone know if they are on general sale anywhere?
Out of interest, how have they explained the fact that Ted hasn't visited his long lost daughter?
Adam, it was mantioned, when it all kicked off, that Ted had 'flu and was stuck in London, but it's wearing a bit thin now. Even severe 'flu whould not have stopped Ted being there for his daughter, and would certainly have been up to see her by now. Anyone know how long Michael Byrn's play has to run? The trial's in a couple of weeks!
Reminds me of Brookside's "Free George Jackson" campaign in the '80s.
That's not Brian Tilsley - it's Paul O'Grady.
Keep her in!
