The Sun reports today that Betty Driver, who plays Betty Williams on Coronation Street, is in hospital with a chest infection.

Great questions, but I wish you had added one more: For statistical purposes, what year did you start watching Coronation Street? Blogs like this tend to have more young readers than older ones, and it would be interesting to see if newer viewers made different choices than long term fans. Maybe next year?
Good comment, abbyk. Unfortunately with free poll software we were limited to 10 questions and so had to go for the obvious ones. Next year we'll make it more interesting and perhaps even buy some proper poll software!! ;-)
