You know what a spare part is? Something surplus to requirements, usually. Sometimes there's an extra screw or nut left over when you assemble that flatpack cabinet or chair. Things seem to work ok without it but you always wonder if things would be more complete with the extra bit.There are characters like that on Coronation Street, too. Characters that could add so much more to the show if they were inserted into the storyline or had one of their own. These characters have had storylines in the past, of course, but seem to be wasted at the moment. Kelly Crabtree is one of those characters and to find out a few others I think are vastly underused, have a read over here.

I do miss Roy and Haley. Its a great shame that since she come back they have hardly been on our screens. Hopefully something comes up for them soon!
As for Kelly, never been a big fan so not really noticed shes not about.
Yesh, Hayely hasn't had a decent storyline for ages. Isn't it time she and Roy were wed anyway?
