Maria is soon to have her baby and of course, Mammy and Da Connor are going to be anxious to see the babby, their only link to their beloved Liam.
When they arrive, one of them is going to look a bit different than the last time we saw them. As we reported here on the blog a while ago, actress Sorcha Cusak, who played Helen Connor in the past, was unavailable for filming so Granada has recast her with actress, Dearbhla Molloy. (And if any of our Irish readers know how that's pronounced, do let us know!)
It's always a bit disconcerting when a character is recast but sometimes it's necessary, especially for bit-parts when the character isn't going to be on screen all the time.

Hey Glenda, I'm reliably told that it's pronounced 'Dervla' as in Dervla Kirwan! KG
Thanks Kris, I'm useless with Irish names, especially Siobhan!
