Bradley Walsh played Danny wide-boy Baldwin in Coronation Street and in a great interview in the MEN says he has been asked to return to Corrie but has other acting commitments at the moment.
Now, I was never sure about Danny Baldwin. To me he was in the wrong soap, a cockney on the cobbles. Anyway, actor Bradley Walsh stars in ITV's new series of Law and Order: UK soon as recovering alcoholic Det Sgt Ronnie Brooks. Read more, see pics and watch a video on Ian Wylie's MEN blog.

I agree - he wasn't really cut out for the Street but I think that he did quite a good job with the material he was given.
But why would he come back? All of his family are gone, so there wouldn't be much point, really.
I liked the boys who played his sons though: they can bring them back any day LOL
I think it would be good to bring him back, he could buy the struggling UnderWorld and what a great character to have back in the Street, it´s lacking something these days and I think it´s Bradley´s sparkling personality.
