Watching the live episode of Coronation Street from Corrie's 40th anniversary in 2000 at the BFI special screening, I noticed that Roy Cropper's breakfast in the caff was the budget price of £2.95.Fast forward from December 2000 to February 2009 and tonight's episode of Corrie revealed that the menu in Roy's Rolls remains much the same with breakfast still at £2.95. Now that's what I call a bargain.
