Bill Tarmey's dream exit for Jack Duckworth

Digital Spy have details of an interview that Bill Tarmey, who plays Jack Duckworth, has given to The Daily Star Sunday. And in it, Bill discusses his doubts over a long-term future on Coronation Street and how he'd like to spend more time in the Tenerife sun. Hey, who wouldn't? Bill also says that his dream exit for Jack Duckworth would be for him to run off to Spain with Bet Lynch. Well, those two have got history, you know.

Rachel Leskovac - last in, first out at Corrie?

Rachel Leskovac who plays Coronation Street hairdresser Natasha, reveals in an interview with The Sunday People that she's worried she might be sacked from the cobbles cast. As cutbacks are being made at ITV, Rachel says: "I am secure till August and I will know in May whether or not they want to keep me. But I am worried that if ITV are going to make cuts, I might go." She also reveals that she originally auditioned for the role of Lauren Wilson, Violet's younger sister on Corrie.

Simon Gregson to be a dad for second time

Reports from the tabloids have gone a bit mad this weekend with news on Coronation Street actors so here we go with the first one.

Simon Gregson, who plays Steve McDonald, is going to become a dad again. The News of the World says that Simon's fiancee Emma Greave is pregnant with their second child. The first child Alfie is now 18 months old and Emma is due to give birth in the summer.
