What with all the news about cast members leaving the show that we've had in the last few days, another of the cast caused a bit of a stir today.
Liam Bairstow, who plays Alex, sparked fears of another Weatherfield exit. But ITV have been quick to confirm he is not leaving. And this fan is happy to hear that too!

This all off my friends and all off my beautiful fans out here this it for me now for tv time I have done all off my Episode and I am now doing stage work Now and then I will be back to make more some more professional tv work
ITV have confirmed to Digital Spy that he's already been booked in to film again at the end of May.
So it's great news that Liam is staying on the show.
