Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally Metcalfe in Coronation Street, has been speaking to Inside Soap magazine this week as the mag celebrates its 25th birthday.

Sally says that the toughest storyline she's had to film was Sally's breast cancer. She also says that Corrie's live 50th episode was one of the most challenging things she's ever had to do.
"I told our boss at the time I didn't want to be in it, but it was one of the best experiences I've ever had on Corrie," she says.
On what's next for Sally on-screen, she says: "I think that it's going to be a rather exciting year for Sally. The world feels as though it's in a bit of a mess at the moment, and - this sounds like a silly thing to say, but - I really hope that Sally's next story manages to encourage people to do good things within their own communities."
