If you're wondering where Coronation Street filmed the beach scenes shown this week on the show, then wonder no more.
The Blackpool Gazette reports that the first set of beach scenes were shot at St Anne's Beach in Lytham.
And the quicksand scenes were filmed in the Lake District. You can see behind the scenes at the quicksand scene with ITV Corrie.

Yech, I hate Leanne's hairdo! Where did they get the idea to make her look like a Swedish maid?
I found it hard to watch the scene where Nick gets trapped in the quicksand. I hope he does not die this way, what a grisly death for him.
I also hope he doesn't die that way but considering how late in the day this must be the tide must be coming in soon to drown him.
According to spoilers David and other Platts will be busy with Bethany. Leanne and the other beach goers are mad at him so they're not likely to go looking for him.
I hope Ben Price had some thermals on, it must've been very chilly!
That was not Lytham.
It looked like Barmouth to me. Any other thoughts ?
Looks like north wales to me, perhaps porth madoc
Arnside, Cumbria
Yes Arnside Cumbria
Arnside for sure. I've walked and run past that spot loads of times.
Also, good to see they made Steve run for the coastguard... terrible mobile reception in Arnside!
The scenes with the cafe and the beach front railings were filmed at Lytham. The quicksand scenes look like they were filmed at Arnside as the railway is shown in some of the shots.
The scenes were not shot at lytham, it was filmed at Arnside in Cumbria!!!
Arnside Cumbria, 100%
I thought Barmouth which is why I ended up here lol
