Assistant Script Editor - Coronation Street 

​Fancy working on the world famous cobbles?

An exciting opportunity has become available to support our writers, script editors and production teams in ensuring that all of Coronations Street's ​scripts meet the highest standard, both editorially and in production terms.

As our Assistant Script Editor, you will work across the entire editorial process attending story conferences and script meetings, you will work closely with our current team of script editors, Assistant Producer and Producer in ensuring continuity within all storylines​ and scripts​.

When required, you will provide cover for our script editors, representing the interests of the writer and the production, so some script editing experience will be required for this role, although we will provide further training if necessary.

​Excellent administrative and organisational skills are required as you will maintain several databases required by the script team and also manage the trial script system. A detailed knowledge of Coronation Street is essential, as is the flexibility to work long hours ​if​ required.
