It's not the first time that the headlines have been badly written in The Weatherfield Gazette, and I'm sure it won't be the last.
This week on Coronation Street, The Wethy Gazette printed the front page headline: "Weatherfield Councilor in Affair Scandal", with the world Councillor spelt wrongly.
Also, on the back page in the sports section the paper reports on the Scottish FA Cup Fifth Round. Scottish FA Cup? In Weatherfield? We all want to know how the mighty Weatherfield County are doing, not a team in Scotland, surely.

That's the fun of a local paper, proof reading after it's been printed is a great game at our house :)
You might not know about The Dog River Review (from Corner Gas, a Canadian TV show ... ) Those headlines were hugely entertaining ...and always wrong.
