All three babies from Lancashire will take turns in front of the camera as Miley. The triplets were cast after Corrie put out a call to casting agents and put up posters in hospital maternity units in the region asking for identical twin girls to play the newborn.
Their proud dad Martyn Halliwell told the Manchester Evening News: “My cousin, who is a theatre actor, suggested that we should get in touch with an agent. He said, ‘There is a high demand for twins, let alone triplets'. We sent some photos over and within two hours we heard back to say they had a client who was interested. On the Monday we were at Coronation Street.”
Martyn, a 29-year-old sales manager, and the triplets’ mum Laura Slinger, a 26-year-old beautician from Padiham, are delighted at how well the girls, born on October 27, have taken to being on Coronation Street.
The triplets will make their first appearance on Good Friday when a shocked Faye goes into premature labour in the empty flat above Dev’s corner shop.

First glance on my phone at this story, I thought it was Owen in the photo!
At first I thought it was Owen too, but look at the arms on that guy! He'd give any builder on the Street a run for his money. He's the real deal:)
So this means that 12 year old Faye will keep the baybay when in reality she would probably give it up for adoption. Another child to disappear conveniently when the Windbags want to go to the pub.
Watching in Canada so it hasn't happened here yet. But from what I have observed from the blog Faye wants nothing to do with the baby. The father is denying that they had been together. Anna and Owen are constantly fighting. Of course the sensible thing to do for the sake of the child would be to give her up for adoption to a loving stable family but it is soapland and we know that will never happen! So the poor little thing will be squished into that tiny little apartment with sulky Faye and Anna and Owen at each other's throats. What a life!
