Inside Soap says that Fiz will head to Wolverhampton to look after Cilla after she finds out she's been to hospital with a fractured vertebra. Fiz will leave Tyrone and Chesney heartbroken when she goes.
I wonder if she'll take the kids with her? And while Fiz is away, I do hope Tyrone doesn't follow in the footsteps of Kev Webster, who, while Sally was away looking after her ill mum in Scarborough, started a fling with Natalie Horrocks!

Hm will Fizz really be missed? I am sure she has a few fans out there but she seems to have become one of those annoying characters that just jogs along really.
Totally agree Frosty, I wish she would stop speaking in that baby voice, especially to Roy.

Why would it have to be a dramatic exit where Tyrone is heartbroken. Why wouldn't they just say Fiz is going away for a few weeks to look after her mum. If Tyrone expects her back in a few weeks why would he be heartbroken? Yes Jennie McAlpine has that annoying condescending almost school teacher like way of talking to people like a baby.
She won't be missed. Fiz was an exciting, funny character once, now she's a nagging fishwife with a condescending manner. This is Chesney's opportunity to bloom.
Have to agree with others, Fizz was once a good character but has overstayed her welcome and become exhausted and not likeable and should now be written out permanently to live with Cilla forever.
Sadly, I agree with all the posters. I wouldn't miss Fizz and Tyronne. I find them both very dull and boring characters without a brain between them. Time for them both to go.
Hard to believe but Fiz and Tyrone are only about 30. They're written as 50 year olds. There's nothing in their script that couldn't be spoken by Sally and Tim. Kylie's character is definitely 'young' (but wayward) and she's only a few years younger than the other two. They should be going to pubs for a younger crowd, as well as popping into the Rovers. Very boring and fuddy-duddy.
Not too long ago when Tyrone fell through the 'cheap' floor, Fizz was moaning on about losing Tyrone's pay and how would they live....supposedly they need her wage, so how will she be making any money if she is away helping Cilla? Wouldn't it be better if Cilla stayed at their ever-expanding house?......though I guess they had to come up with some plausible reason for Fizz's long absence. Agree, that Tyrone and Fizz seem to share one brain most of the time and are written too old and stodgy for their ages.
Ty has to have an affair...it's the way things are on the street!
I don't think that they are dull and boring. Some residents have to keep the street grounded. Not everyone can be explosive
I don't think Tyrone will have an affair[at least I hope not]but will instead be jealous of Maria and Luke.Perhaps he'll become the third wheel?Or maybe he won't be seen at all while Fiz is away.
Poor Ty...always getting the short shrift.
