Next week in Coronation Street, David learns the truth about Kylie's baby. He plans on suicide but settles on revenge. Anyway, while he's contemplating ending his life, on Wednesday 19 June, the scenes we'll see of David on a cliff-top were filmed at Tegg's Nose.
Cheshire Today reports that Corrie filmed at Tegg’s Nose Country Park, near Macclesfield.
The hill at Tegg’s Nose proved to be the ideal spot for the film crew, who spent the day with Cheshire East Council’s ranger service to ensure filming went smoothly.

Jump, David! Jump!
I find David SO weedy. The idea that a kid like him could father a child is unreal!
Weedy or not, the actor that plays David, Jack P.Shepherd, has one child and another on the way, don't think it is that much of a stretch that his character will be a father.
I quite like the character, David, and think he makes a good team with Kylie. I'm not so keen on the violent episodes. Comical rather than scary, but that might be because it's on the small screen rather than a large cinema screen. Thought the same about Becky's rampaging.
I thought David would have grown up by now. I think it's ridiculous that he is smashing Nic, Leanne's, and Simon's home to bits. I think David needs to show some maturity for once. How long is he going to continue to act like a little kid?
I think only the actors who can't act are given these smash 'em up scenes. The good ones know how to show emotions through speech and eyes.
Ah yes..the ever present sledge hammer is always available whenever someone goes off the rails..Becky smashed up Deidre's living room..a couple of years ago, David smashed up the street..cars etc although I can't remember now. Kylie was trying to smash through Tina's door a few months ago..sledgehammer conveniently close by...now it's back again. Owen has got to lock his truck!
Janice, I couldn't agree more. There's David Platt, and then there's the sublime Royston.
Hate the Platts - the god awful Gail with her wobbling head and the always feeling sorry for himself for one reason or another David - only decent one is Kylie and the marvellous Audreh of course although she is not a Platt or a prat like the rest of them.
