This is amazing news for the Coronation Street Blog and I make no apologies for blowing our own trumpet once more.
With thanks to our Blogger Llifon's polls asking fans to vote for their favourite Coronation Street accessories, we've been featured in the Daily Star, the Loughborough Echo and now the Leicester Mercury.

Congratulations on the exposure and thank you for providing the link!
I enjoyed learning how David Neilson chose to use a woman's shopping bag to make his character "a little bit more strange."
In another post, I believe, the actress who plays Julie spoke of buying accessories for her character, as well as Barbara Knox, who spoke of buying jewelry for Rita.
I wonder if this is common practice outside of the UK? Somehow I cannot imagine soap stars in the US trolling market stalls for items appropriate to their character!
