Why I love Kirk

All to often I hear people on forums talk about how Kirk is useless, and needs to be axed. I disagree, I love 'Kirkeh', sure he doesn't really have any storylines, but does he need to? He's a loveable loser, and he always has a smile on his face. He's not a bad person in any way, in fact, he's probably the closest thing to a real life person the street has.

Corrie does well with characters like Kirk, you can have your serial killers, and you can have your explosions, but they'd be nothing without the secondary characters, the Julies and the Kirkys. Long live Kirk!

bbhilda said...: I agree, I love Kirk. I was trying to figure out tonight, was he Best Man at both weddings? I didn't see anyone else doing the job, but he seemed front and centre all the time.
