I can't wait for The Road to Coronation Street
It's almost Thursday and many of us are waiting on the edge of our seats for The Road to Coronation Street! There's a great piece in the Herald Scotland about the show. The author sat down to watch and was a bit skeptical at some of the casting, Jessie Wallace in particular as Elsie Tanner but was won over in a big way. The more I hear about this docudrama the more I'm just that anxious to see it! Can Thursday come any quicker?

Thanks for the link to the interesting piece in the Herald.
I've more or less caught all these BBC4 Bio-dramas of historic/iconic figures, and there's not a dud amongst them. So I'm expecting this production to be no different and therefore should be the must-see show of the week, for certain.
I know. I'm gutted because I'm working that particular night so I'll have to see if I can get it on the iplayer. I think Jessie Wallace will be great actually - I had my doubts as well, but I saw a wee bit of the programme with her as Marie Lloyd and I thought she was belting.
I'm sure it'll be repeated seapenguin. I've already got me curlers in, ready.

I'm counting on the CBC to broadcast this. And hopefully before 2012!
