Fabulous pictures! reading the Digital Spy thing, they say Steve & Becky's marriage comes under pressure soon - please say this is a hint they are splitting up! PLEASE!! I really am not enjoying this whole thing with the adoption/sister/sister's kiddie.
Not impressed with the photos. It's all style and no substance. The inclusion of Duffy and Marsh alone take their credibility down several notches.
Corrie has history... it features storylines with awkward people... older people. Highlighting fake boobs, boyband dancers and actors who have been in the show 5 minutes does the show no credit.
Glad to see Chris Gascoigne, Simon Gregson and Jenny McAlpine however.
These photos scream "Heat Magazine" at me... not "Coronation Street"
I think the photos are great; love them and think that yeah, both Keith and Chris are very soulful looking...what eyes!
They are all looking good, however, and the women look stunning.
'Young and Lustful'is the prime way C.S. seems to wish to promote itself, and who can blame them given the large portion of the television viewing audience that it's in their best interest to capture?
I think they'll receive positive reviews and it looks as if a glammed up Kym Marsh is one of the 'calendar girls' in 2010.
These pictures are released online, obviously a younger audience will see them and think "wait, Corrie looks quite stylish" that's why there is no oldies on the photo, doesn't mean they're forgotten, just means the pictures are targeted at the younger demographic
p.s. the photo's aren't for the 50 anniversary, there is a total cast photo for that and it will be released towards the end of the year (remember the news story of Anne Kirkbride collapsing during the photoshoot?)
I think they all look great, but I agree with Annie. It feels like I'm looking at the promo pics for a glam American tv series about young people, not Corrie, with it's mixed ensemble of characters.
