You may remember that the actor who played Linda Sykes, Jacqueline Chadwick, disappeared. Mike Baldwin, her new husband and sparring partner, was suspected of doing away with her but it turned out she went to Ireland, last we knew.Jacqueline Chadwick left the show to have a baby but has never gone back to acting. She's now living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada, and running a successful acting school for children. She also writes plays for the kids to perform and produce. She says she really wasn't comfortable in the spotlight that came with celebrity and much prefers teaching and writing. I didn't realise that she was a child actor herself. It sounds like she's made a very happy life for herself over here and we wish her all the best!

She will never be forgotton as Tina Dingle! She was an excellent actress but obviously didnt relish the spotlight so good luck to her.
Interesting to read what happened to 'Linda'. Here in the Netherlands they are currently showing Corrie episodes from around her time and I recently watched the Mike and Linda wedding episodes again. She was an interesting character.
oh i loved that character! too bad it seems she shall never return.
I wish some of the Baldwin clan would return to corrie.
I'd forgotten about Linda! that was another father/son thing, wasn't it?
She was the one that got Karen Macdonald a job at the factory...we have her to thank for many years of craziness!!
