Inside Soap Awards 2013 - all the winners announced

Inside Soap magazine have announced all the winners in their awards for 2013.  From Coronation Street, the winners are:

BEST ACTOR
David Neilson (Roy Cropper, Corrie)

BEST BITCH
Natalie Gumede (Kirsty Soames, Corrie)

FUNNIEST MALE
Simon Gregson (Steve McDonald, Corrie)

SEXIEST FEMALE
Michelle Keegan (Tina McIntyre, Corrie)

Emmerdale won Best Soap.

Also presented on the night – voted for by members of Mecca Bingo – was Mecca’s Luckiest Soap Character Award, which was won by: Stella Price (Coronation Street) for escaping the Rovers fire.

Inside Soap Awards 2013 - red carpet arrival pics

The Inside Soap Awards 2013 are taking place this evening, Monday 21 October at The Ministry of Sound in that London.

All the Corrie winners are listed here.

We already know that Michelle Keegan, Corrie's Tina McIntyre, has won the Sexiest Female award. However, Michelle won't be at the awards ceremony. She tweeted today that she was busy filming in Manchester and couldn't attend.

Inside Soap Awards 2013 - voting reopens for Best Soap

Voting has reopened in the Inside Soap awards 2013 for Best Soap - vote for Coronation Street here.

Corrie has picked up the most nominations on the Inside Soap Awards shortlist with 15 compared to 13 for EastEnders, 11 for Emmerdale and 9 for Hollyoaks.

This year's 'Best Actor' category will be contested by Coronation Street's Roy Neilson (Roy Cropper) and Jack P Shepherd (David Platt), EastEnders star Jake Wood (Max Branning) and Emmerdale's Jeff Hordley (Cain Dingle).

Coronation Street's Julie Hesmondhalgh (Hayley Cropper) and Michelle Keegan (Tina McIntyre) will go up against Jacqueline Jossa (Lauren Branning) from EastEnders and Emmerdale actress Lesley Dunlop (Brenda Walker).

Meanwhile, this year's 'Best Newcomer' prize is a battle between Coronation Street's Marc Baylis (Rob Donovan), EastEnders' Khali Best (Dexter Hartman) and Ben Hardy (Peter Beale) and Emmerdale's Laura Norton (Kerry Wyatt).
