Corrie Weekly Awards for Jan 1 - 5
Marvel Universe Channeling Award: Were the stags trying to channel The Hulk with the all green wardrobe and complete skin coverage in green? And what on earth was that posing freezeframe thing they were all doing?
Misplaced accusations award: Phelan blamed Seb for losing them the roofing job at the factory when it was the loss of the deal with the Parkers that actually did that.
Pants on Fire award: Luke found out Matt was telling lies about Andy. Eileen found out that Nicola didn't actually move to Australia. Luke outed Rana's lie about being pregnant though she pretended to Zee that Luke got the wrong end of the stick. (pun intended)
Musical ambiance: Nat King Cole "When I Fall In Love" when Zeedan was expounding on the kind of future he wants to give his true love, Rana. How could she break his heart after that?
What are the odds awards: Two little wire houses turn up on the same day, houses that the late Andy used to make, both found in locations connected to Pat Phelan, as it happens.
Lines of the week:
Cathy "Brian, are you a man or are you a mouse?" (can I answer that?)
Carla "I'm not sure how this is going to work. A man who can't lie looking after a woman who does nothing but?" Roy "I'm sure I could lie if the circumstances required it"
Daniel "I'm here to bury the hatchet" Chesney "What, in me head?"
Robert "Any chance of a word?" Michelle "That depends. Does this word sound anything like Sorry?"
Zeedan "Next time I see Luke he's got some explaining to do"
Eileen "At least I know I'm not the only person in the universe with cow pats raining down on her head"
Toyah "We are never mixing our friends again!"

Freeze frame is a game sort of like musical chairs..you stop and freeze when the music stops instead of sitting down..not that difficult.
What was with the vegan bashing? They were talked about as if they'd invited a truckload of Martians.
The stag gang were clearly dressed as toy soldiers so the freeze frame game makes even more sense.
Remember Toy Story? The Green Army Men would have to freeze when they heard people approaching.
