Cue baby Ollie needing a transplant, only for Leanne to discover Nick is the baby's actual father! Then cue Nick dying under the knife for said transplant, donation, or whatever would cause him to go under the knife.
You may be on to something:-)
Considering it's a newborn, the only possible transplant from an adult would be part of a liver. Those can be risky for the donor.
