In this week's OK Magazine there's an interview with Coronation Street's Simon Gregson, who plays Steve McDonald. Simon and his wife Emma talk about their new baby Henry Teddy and Emma's incredible four week labour.
Simon also says that he's ready to get back to work and says he's looking forward to his return to Coronation Street. Simon has been on a break from Corrie for personal reasons since September last year.
"I'm pretty sure I'm starting back filming next month but I won't be back on screen until April/May," he said. "I've missed the banter and the playing about. It's not a job, is it? When you're just playing the fool and being daft, it's just good fun. I'm looking forward to getting back to being the old Steve McDonald."
I can't wait to see him back on the Street and wish him all the very best.

Great news!
Yes, very pleased to hear this.
Missed you Simon - will be very happy to see you on our telly again xx
We need Steve back. Missed him.
Yayyy
Finally some good news from casting! Welcome back (soon) Simon!
If we get Steve back get we get Lloyd back also?? They were a great team. Although I have to admit THANK GOODNESS for Tim - I'm not sure who writes his lines or if they are adlib, but the duo of Steve & Tim in the cab office just may work really, really well, especially now that Sally is running for council office. Tim will need a place to hide out when he isn't washing windows.
What a lovely family Simon has! The little lad on the left looks exactly like him!
Can't wait to see Simon back on the cobbles.
One of Corrie's best. :D
