Coronation Street - a list of who's leaving, joining and returning

With the news today that Rob Donovan is due to return to Coronation Street, here's an updated list of who's joining, who's returning and who's leaving the show.

JOINING

Kate and Johnny Connor will join the show - read it here.

Jamie, an ex-boyfriend of Steph Britton, will join the show in a cameo role. Read it here.

Shayne Ward joins the show as Aidan Connor. He'll appear on screen for the first time on Friday 21 August. Read it here.

Paddy McGuinness joins the show in a guest role as Dougie Ryan. Read it here.


RETURNING

Eva Price will be back on screen soon as actress Catherine Tyldesley returned from maternity leave some weeks ago. Read it here.

LEAVING / TAKING A BREAK

Alison King will take a break in 2016 as Carla Connor - read it here.

Craig Charles (Lloyd Mullaney) and Hayley Tamaddon (Andrea Beckett) have filmed their final scenes already. However, they will both be back for the live episode in September. Read it here.

Samia Ghadie (Maria Connor) will be taking maternity leave soon and will therefore have left the show on her maternity leave, meaning she will miss the live episode in September. Read it here.
