Coronation Street wins TV BAFTA for Best Soap

Coronation Street won the TV BAFTA for Best Soap and Continuing Drama.The awards ceremony was held on Sunday 10th May in London.

Coronation Street producer Stuart Blackburn collected the award on stage with a few members of the Corrie cast.  Stuart dedicated the award to Anne Kirkbride.
