She talks about her divorce to TV producer Jon Connerty after seven years of marriage, and says their son Otis, six, eased the pain of the couple’s split in 2013.
“If I didn’t have my son I would have found my divorce harder. Having Otis made it bearable, because it’s forced me to go out and meet people. I don’t particularly like being single. I enjoy the hustle and bustle of family life and I’d like to be married again. Sometimes I just want to come home and have somebody to tell about my day.”
Kate is very different to Tracy, as you'd expect (and hope!). She says: “Tracy Barlow is supremely confident, she feels like she could have any man she wanted. She likes to feel as if she’s gorgeous to men, but I’m not like that at all.”

I love to hate Tracy. Kate Ford is a wonderful actress and is a credit to Coronation street. I hope she never leaves the show, we have lost too many great actors as it is.
I'm sorry that her marriage ended, and wish her nothing but the best in all her endeavors in the future.
Nothing against Kate Ford but another example of how good looks get you further than acting ability in some shows.
