The winners of the Inside Soap Awards 2014 were announced last night at a glitzy ceremony in London.
Coronation Street won three awards, as follows:
Best Bad Boy
Marc Baylis (Rob Donovan, Corrie) - WINNER
Best Bitch
Kate Ford (Tracy Barlow, Corrie) - WINNER
Funniest Male
Simon Gregson (Steve McDonald, Corrie) - WINNER

Perhaps now that Marc Bayliss has won a gong, the door can be left open for Rob.
There's been an article about the "door being left open" for Rob. Literally no point in building false tension if they're just gonna give away the ending to each storyline in the press.
All that means is that he won't be killed off. He could get banged up in prison for years and years. So yes, once out, he could return.
Getting life in prison in corrie just means 2 years max. Anyway they were lucky to get 3 awards this year. The state that the street is in at the moment under SB. Perhaps this will ring bells at ITV hq when they are thinking about sb's future.
Seems a bit unfair that it's always Simon Gregson who gets nominated when Steve and Lloyd are more of a double act. Would be nice to see Craig Charles get some recognition.
