I'm confident at this point that Sophie has her own bed reserved at that hospital! From zero to possibly permanently disabled in 10 seconds flat! Love the photo of Maria and Marcus; I'd have the very same look on my face, if Marcus was tending to me like that! Very sweet. ;)
I am sorry but I laughed at the picture, its all becoming so trite and same old, to the point of ridiculousness.
Any bets? Sophie recovers (although her powers of speech will remain the same); Ryan has a lightbulb moment and gives himself up to the police; Sophie will need round-the-clock home care so Kevin and Sally agree to try again (and will, hopefully, fail again.)
Stuart Blackburn has said that he likes stories to have very real consequences so hopefully these big dramatic events that are then easily resolved, like Sophie's last life-threatening accident, will soon be over.
Poor writers..they really are at the end of their tether I think. Can't collectively come up with anything better than yet another life-threatening injury or illness or a pregnancy.
Corrie children never live up to their potential. They drop out of school for whatever reason and get stuck in with the mess of the soap.
A far better scenario would have been to have Sophie rendered mute!
