Tupele Dorgu, who plays Kelly Crabtree, was on ITV's Loose Women today and you can watch the full video here.Tupele said she's already filmed her final scenes on Coronation Street - we'll see Kelly walk away down the cobbles, in the rain and a very short skirt. The reason she's leaving Coronation Street after six years is that she wasn't getting what she wanted, as an actress, with the character of Kelly and it was time for her to leave to take up other challenges. She said she'd love to do more TV and theatre work and has just finished doing this.

I will reiterate that Kelly was a sorely wasted character. We get the likes of Tracy and Sunita brought back and they let Kelly go. Hm. I wish Tupele all the best for the future.
I agree. They've made her very one dimensional and she had so much potential.
