I guess ITV is trying to keep spoilers to a minimum for once...

The misery continues. Why did surgeon Mr Harper turn up at Roy's café rather than the hospital? Why mention Billy grooming? I don't recall him ever being accused of that.
Is Jodie really Shona's sister, as she claimed to be the baby's proud auntie? Presumably they were separated when young, because Shona doesn't recognise her. No previous references to Shona's family. Rewriting history yet again.

These half hour episodes just fly by. I'm still not sure if that's a good or a bad thing

I totally agree. I love the hour episodes. Now, you just seem to be getting in to the episode and then you find the credits rolling. I much prefer the Joe long episodes

I thought the heavy involvement of the surgeon was totally unnecessary.
They could have said The Beckham's daughter is called that and that they liked the name. End of! Where was Lily and Audrey?
I don't recall this Jodie being in the car crash at all. If Shona has a sister, it's never been mentioned - very much like Carl webster.
He was never mentioned by either Kevin or Debbie before he arrived on the scene.
( Billy has a brother and in reality, he'd be the one sorting the funeral out etc).
Why had Bernie been given an update and a photo of the baby and not The Platt family? Surely they'd be first in line for an update?
It would have been good to see their relief and joy - but sadly, we didn't see it.
I'm not keen on these 30 mins episodes. It's actually 20 mins if watched on ITVX with no ad breaks.

He meant Billy was ‘well groomed’ as in his personal hygiene.
