This week starts with the fallout from last week, as we follow the money. Shona has paid Harvey from Daisy's money from Daniel which also pays Carla from Steven's theft from the factory. Doesn't explain who Harvey (or Damon) stole the money from in the first place though and why Daniel's going along with Daisy's plan to finish off this storyline. Anyway, Daisy's been discharged and not into Daniel's arms, nor Jenny's. Daisy finds out that Jenny not only tried to get off with her ex, but then told him about the loss of the baby, all of which is of course leading to Daisy's departure. She also finds out about the reason she was in the car accident and demands the money back from David. She finishes off the ep by telling a) Daniel that she and he are toxic and shouldn't be together and b) that Jenny is the reason she was in the road in the first place and she'll never forgive her for that.
Talking of arms, Brian is hoping to be back in Julie's, much to Mary's disgust. Julie decides to start planning her funeral and visits George at the undertakers, only to be interrupted by Eileen and Julie has to fess up to her sister. Eileen says she's not leaving her side from now until the end of Katy Cavanagh's contract.
Betsy returns from the party she wasn’t allowed to go to and promptly goes out again only to be chased by a hooded Rob in the precinct, although she escapes (for now).
Alya has had a chat with another solicitors about a job but we know she's going to end up doing FoH at Speed Daal. I'm a bit disappointed that Yasmeen is going and with such a minimal exit storyline too. The Nazirs were introduced as the first Muslim family on the street and now they're down from 5 to 1. In the meantime, Yasmeen introduces the new co-owner of her restaurant to her granddaughter - Leanne! Does Yas know Ms Battersby burned down her first restaurant?
In the borstal STC, Dylan and Brody (who presumably is going to turn up at Mick and Lou's at some point) share a joint in the classroom which seems like possibly the worst place to smoke drugs and they get caught. Brody lies to the STC officer to get Dylan off the hook (and more under his thumb).

I have often wondered why the Nazirs haven't had lots of relatives turning up to live with them to keep the house full and the family relevant. It does seem a sad ending to a once promising family.
And as for Daisy - steals Bertie's money then immediately dumps Daniel. Classy.
