The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and Sally’s left reeling after Duncan does a runner with the charity cash.
Well, Sally won’t listen to Tim who tells her to be careful of Duncan. Tim certainly doesn’t trust him, but Sally backs Duncan to the hilt after hearing Duncan talk about his wife’s ordeal. She makes a decision to help him. But Tim is concerned when Duncan asks Sally if she can fast track some of the charity funds as he has found a good deal on some equipment for the hospital.
When Tim voices his suspicions to Steve they agree to check Duncan out. At his office they are shocked to find the place empty. Sally is sickened to discover the £40k has disappeared and the council head of finance, Jeanette, tells her she has no option but to call the police.
