Don't miss this tonight, it's on ITV at 8pm. Hilda Ogden's last ta-ra, a tribute to Jean Alexander celebrates the unforgettable contribution that actress Jean Alexander made to Coronation Street.
Corrie's Sally Dynevor (Sally Metcalfe) and William Roache (Ken Barlow) along with other cast members pictured below pay homage to Jean and Hilda and share their memories of her.
There will also be some scenes of Hilda's most memorable moments. Should be a lovely thing to watch.

Programme was fabulous!!!
I loved the programme! It brought tears to my eyes, especially when Kevin and Sally were watching the old clips together! I was, however, looking to see the clip which showed Hilda returning briefly and going to t'Rovers. I know I saw it some where, but now I cannot remember where. Can anyone help me out with this?
Cheers and Happy Christmas everyone!

Jean Alexander, a consummate professional and a classy woman. She did a job she loved wonderfully, lived simply and modestly while never taking her popularity and fame all that seriously. She was kind and generous to her fellow actors and fostered a wonderful friendship and partnership with her co-star who played Stan her husband. I can understand how the actors on Corrie today wish they had known her and worked with her. All the best Hilda/Jean -- I hope you're up there giving more wonderful performances up there with another favourite actress from the Cobbles --- Blanche/Maggie Jones.
Superb. I loved every minute of it. Some of the scenes I've seen multiple times on You Tube because they are, simply, classic. Fab also to see some new ones. And I thought it was a nice touch to have new and old cast members watch the clips and comment.
A very worthy tribute. Kia Kate, Miss Alexander. What a class act you were
