The Women of Coronation Street
I stumbled upon a great video on Youtube recently. Some kind soul has uploaded the special video - The Women of Coronation Street, and it's a great watch.
This video marked a rare return to the role of Hilda Ogden for actress Jean Alexander. The premise was Betty paying Hilda a visit at her cottage in Derbyshire.
It was lovely to see these two cracking Corrie actresses working together again, and curious to see Hilda brought up to speed on the Weatherfield goings on of the late 1990s. The new material is really just a linking tool for lots of classic Corrie clips, but with such quality performers involved, it's an absolute joy.
If you fancy a wallow in Coronation Street nostalgia, check out the video here.
