The Television and Radio Industry Club (TRIC) Awards takes place next month, Tuesday March 12, at the Grosvenor House Hotel in that London. TRIC Awards are voted for not by a panel of judges or a committee, but by the many members of the Industry.
Corrie's nominated in two categories as follows:
Soap Personality Sponsored by Samsung
Michelle Keegan (Tina McIntyre)
TV Soap of the Year Sponsored by StarPlus HD
Coronation Street
Let's hope that Corrie can bag the award for TV Soap and make it three so far this year, adding to their National TV Award and Broadcast Award so far in 2013. All nominees are here.

Now I have nothing against Michelle Keegan but how can her miserable shouty character be nominated for Soap "personality". Just down to her good looks again which is very unfair.
Exactly, Frosty, I don't buy this at all. I wouldn't vote for her, if I were the voting sort, so that means her rivals are more likely to win. Not to worry, there'll be another Award contest next week.
